Fabulous Fourth of July Festivities – Get to the Lake!

The communities surrounding Lake Grapevine have so much in store for the Fourth of July weekend – from fireworks, to concerts to 5K races. Check out this list events in Southlake, Grapevine, Flower Mound and Trophy Club.

FLOWER MOUND 

What: Independence Fest 2015, Presented By Market Street

When: Saturday, July 4

Cost: Free

Headlined by 38 SPECIAL, Independence Fest 2015 will continue to build on the success of previous years to be a great day of celebration, and as always, admission and parking are free! A full day of activities begins with the annual Children’s Parade at the LISD School Administration Building, 1800 Timber Creek Road, and concludes with a fantastic fireworks finale at around 9:50 p.m. that follows the free concert featuring 38 SPECIAL at Bakersfield Park. GRAPEVINE 

What: Grapevine’s 4th Of July Fireworks Celebration

When: Saturday, July 4th – 9 p.m.

Where: Lake Grapevine

Cost: Free

Be prepared to be astonished by the fireworks spectacular, which can be viewed from any lakeside location as well as several other spots throughout Grapevine. Admission is free at most viewing locations. Some parks along Lake Grapevine may charge a minimal admission fee. Click here for full schedule.

SOUTHLAKE

What: Stars & Stripes 2015

When: Friday, July 3 – 6 p.m.; fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Where: Frank Cornish IV Park, McPherson Park, Rustin Pavilion

Cost: Free

The Southlake Community Band will kick off the evening with patriotic music in Family Park at 6 p.m. followed by an uplifting patriotic ceremony featuring local artist Jayden Goldberg singing the National Anthem. The 1943 Douglas A-26 Invader bomber plane will also make an overhead appearance during the ceremony! Relax and enjoy the rest of the evening with music and activities for all ages, including crafts, games and inflatables for the kids. Attendees will enjoy concessions to entertain all taste buds, including Cousin’s Maine Lobster featured on Shark Tank and FeedStore BBQ, a Southlake favorite. For details, click here.

TROPHY CLUB 

What: Patriot 5K and Fun Run, Parade of Patriots and Fireworks

When: Saturday, July 4 – 5K starts at 7:15 a.m.; fireworks start at 9:40 p.m.

Where: Independence Park West

The July 4th Celebration is Trophy Club’s largest event of the year and we love celebrating our red, white and blue roots! We have a full day of fun, Patriotic events planned:

– Patriot 5K and Fun Run (begins at 7:15 a.m.)

– Parade of Patriots (begins at 9:30 a.m.)

– Celebration and Fireworks (6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.)
