Now is the time to list your home to sell. The average sales price continues to increase as inventory remains especially low across North Texas neighborhoods. In Fort Worth, homes located in the core markets are selling at an average of 93 percent of the list price.
“With the engagement of an educated market professional, the percentage of sales-to-list price increases. It’s extremely important for sellers to have the knowledge and expertise of a licensed agent to realize the absolute most for their investment in the shortest amount of time,” said Laurie Brants, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty’s Cultural District Director of Sales.
While this is great news for sellers, it makes for a competitive market among buyers as available inventory remains scarce. Serious buyers are relying on the network of agents at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. The brokerage has the largest number of listings in Fort Worth’s major areas, with 11.7 percent of the market.
