It all started with two women.

Nenetta Burton Carter and Bille Bransford Clark were on a mission to raise funds necessary to meet the needs of Fort Worth children whose families could not otherwise afford their medical care. Thanks to the Angels of Jewel Charity, every child at Cook Children’s Medical Center is given the superb healthcare they deserve.

Since the first Jewel Charity Ball in 1954, which raised $9,000 for Fort Worth Children’s Hospital, Jewel Charity has continued to fulfill its mission and spread the message of health and caring by raising more than $67 million for Cook Children’s.

This year’s Ball on December 10, 2016 will be a night of celebration; a chance to acknowledge and thank the Angels who are dedicated to helping Jewel Charity keep its promise to provide the best possible health care to every patient that walks through the doors of Cook Children’s Medical Center.

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is a proud sponsor of the 2016 Jewel Charity Ball.
