Why is Dallas such an exciting place to live right now? Robbie Briggs, President and CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, counts the ways in a new video produced by Allegiance Title Company.
“We’re very pro-business (in Texas) and that makes real estate values surge,” Briggs says. “Dallas is outpacing the nation … in real estate.”
The Industry Thought Leader video, titled “An Exciting Time to Live in North Texas,” details the region’s growth and future. Some of the reasons why North Texas is attracting so many new residents:
– Texas has the 14th-largest gross domestic product in the world.
– Dallas alone has a GDP of $380 billion.
– The region is expected to grow to 8 million residents in the next 10 to 15 years.
Briggs suggests keeping an eye on the growth of the I-35 corridor, and watch how eastern Tarrant County and portions of Denton County blossom.
He says that growth along the edges of Dallas makes the Uptown and Downtown neighborhoods all the more desirable. “Our leadership is making so many great strides in building a city of the future,” he says, noting the Trinity River Project, Dallas Arts District, and Deep Ellum revitalization, as well as attractions such as the Perot Museum and the new Children’s Adventure Garden at the Arboretum.
“We’re very fortunate to be in Dallas,” Briggs says.
