Robbie’s Real Estate Trends: Expanding Our Lakewood Presence

As seen in the Wall Street Journal Mansion section:

I have wanted to increase our reach into Lakewood and East Dallas for several years. With White Rock Lake as a centerpiece, it’s a beautiful part of Dallas, and our agents have always loved helping people buy and sell homes there.

After acquiring the respected neighborhood firm Scott Carlson Real Estate, we also sought out another well-known Realtor in the area, John Whiteside and his Team Whiteside, to join us. The addition of these two great teams of neighborhood experts made the time right to expand our market with the opening of a Lakewood  office.

This is an exciting development for a number of reasons: it merges the tremendous bench strength of established groups of Lakewood experts, well respected for their excellent knowledge of the area and devotion to customer service. Many of the agents have bought and sold homes in Lakewood for generations.

Gene Taylor, our executive vice president and director of sales and development, will manage the office at 6301 Gaston Avenue Plaza 170.  We expect to expand even more, adding a full-time manager and support team to help clients as high demand and low inventory are pushing home values upward.

“So many people are moving throughout Dallas,” said John. “With our new affiliation, we are part of a network that can assist anyone wanting to buy or sell anywhere.” And that reach extends well beyond Dallas. Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is known for superb marketing, as well as a network of global buyers and sellers.

When we connected with Scott about joining our team, he was enthusiastic. He also said he knew it was a great fit. “With the growing number of national and international buyers moving here, Lakewood deserves a brand that can reach global markets,” Scott told us.

The new office will have 12 real estate professionals, including Scott and John, and others from their respective talented teams.
