You can call them the best places to buy a home right now – and six of the Top 10 in WalletHub’s list of 2015’s Healthiest Housing Markets are in the suburbs north of Dallas.

WalletHub looked at 300 U.S. cities in terms of 14 indicators including median home-price appreciation to home price as a percentage of income to job growth, and came up with a list that includes these suburban hot spots in DFW:

1 – Frisco, TX

2 – Allen, TX

4 – Plano, TX

6 – Carrollton, TX

7 – McKinney, TX

9 – Richardson, TX

But big-city folks, don’t despair – Fort Worth and Dallas both made the Top 100.

The experts WalletHub spoke to all suggested that now is a good time to buy a home – especially in communities with promising economies as we see in DFW.

“Potential buyers should pay far more attention to their own finances and conditions in the neighborhood and far less to guessing where interest rates or the national economy will go,” Scott Deacle, assistant professor of business and economics at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, told WalletHub.

Here’s the complete ranking:
