Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, the leader in luxury real estate in North Texas, announces the appointment of top industry executive Gaynelle Henger as the director of sales for its dedicated office in bustling Uptown and the co-director of sales for its largest office, Lovers Lane, in Dallas. Henger’s responsibilities will include strategic planning, business planning, agent support, agent recruitment, agent training and business leadership.

With more than 14 years of success as an agent and in managerial and directorial roles, Henger has a unique understanding of what real estate agents need to excel in an ever-changing industry and market. As the sales manager of the flagship office of a large Dallas brokerage, she managed more than $1 billion in sales volume, nearly 90 agents and 1,000 client relationships. As an agent, she was a top producer and earned industry honors, including D Magazine’s Best Real Estate Agents for multiple years and D Magazine’s Top Residential Real Estate Producers. Henger was named Rookie of the Year in her first full year as an agent with a large local firm.

Henger’s deep knowledge of luxury real estate agents, clients and properties is strengthened by her 20 years in corporate marketing, communications and advertising, including senior vice president positions at United Way Metropolitan Dallas and KinderCare Learning Centers. At DDB Needham in Dallas, she worked with its CEO, Mike Rawlings, now Dallas’ mayor.

Henger’s love of neighborhoods and communities extends to her charitable work, which has included mentoring adolescents at Nexus Recovery Center and leadership roles with United Way of Dallas’ Women of Tocqueville and The Winston School. Henger holds a BBA in Marketing from Baylor University in Waco.

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is also pleased to announce expanded new roles for two of its top sales directors. Fort Worth native Zareen Khan, the brokerage’s director of sales at its Cultural District and Mira Vista offices, becomes the firm’s chief sales officer in addition to her current role. The firm also announces an expanded role for Betsy Cameron, the firm’s director of sales at its Lakewood office, who joins Henger as the co-director of sales at the Lovers Lane office in Dallas.

The announcements come at an exciting time for Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, which realized exceptional successes in 2017. Its 500-plus agents, in 10 offices across North Texas, achieved a total sales volume of more than $3 billion. The firm sold more homes in 2017 priced more than $1 million across Dallas and Fort Worth, per North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, than any other brokerage.
